436. Marie Margurite Rosa LABERGE

does not appear in KC 1900 cencus, but 1 year old clild named Rose does. Presume died in childbirth or shortly after.

Matthew O CANFIELD

1900 MO census shows new child. 1yr, Rose (?) and two LaBerge sisters in law living with Mathew.), presume Rose died in childbirth, by 1910 .

519. Bertram CANFIELD

according to Aunt Helene, Bertram and my father were about same age. Bertram was 11 at time of 1910 KS census, so he would actually have been seven or eight years younger than my father who was born in 1891. The 1900 KC census has a male child of 1 year old with an Oct 1989 birth date noted as well, however the name entered is in that line is Rosa not Bertram. I suspect Rosa was dead by then, presumably in childbirth. We have in this collection a postal card from my father's mother Clara to Bertram reminding him that he, Bertram, owed my father a letter. The  card to the Canfields at that date, 1908, showed their address to be 2110 N 5th. st., Kansas City, KA. This is the same address written in prayer book by Virie LaBerge Harris in 1917.
