Catherine Laberge was the third child born to Robert de la Berge and 

Françoise Gosse.

At the age of 20, Catherine Laberge married Guillaume Maroist on
April 14, 1687 in the church at L’Ange-Gardien.  Guillaume Maroist purchased
the property which Nicolas Laberge had inherited.  That area is located west

of Maison Laberge in area of Rue Adrien Laberge. 

The former Premier of
Québec, Mme Pauline Marois is a direct descendant of Guillaume Maroist.
